12 Month Check Up

Carson just had his 12 month check up today. He is as healthy as can be and is weighting in at 25 pounds and 31 1/2 inches tall. He is in the 75% for his height and weight. The doc. said that he is one of the most consistant patients she has, as far as how much he grows. So all is good and we look forward to his next apt.

Our family trip to Missouri

We had a blast on our trip. It was a fun filled week with lots of family. The best part was that Carson started walking the day we arrived, which was Sunday October 26th. I was so happy that everyone was able to see him walk. On Wednesday Carson rode Jan and Reggies Mule Kate. She was so gentle and Carson just loved her. He also went on a tractor ride and visited Brison's old playhouse in the woods. That night was his Birthdays party and surprise arrival of Travis. Thursday we did some family pictures out in front of the house that Reggie was raised in. And last but not least, Carson went trick or treating in Springfield Friday night around Grandma and Grandpa Carty's house.

After a whole week of excitement, Carson has had no problem sleeping now that we are home. I think it may take him a while to catch up. lol

Carson's 1st Birthday

Carson had an amazing 1st Birthday. He was so blessed to be able to have two parties and spend time with all of his family. His first Birthday was here in Grand Junction with most of my family, Brison's mom and brother, and some close friends. He received some pretty great gifts. His second party was when we arrived in Missouri. We had his party at his great grandparents and was joined by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Grandparents. We had such a blast. It is amazing how fast his first year went by. He is a wonderful son and we are so thankful for him to be a part of our lives.
