My mom's Aunt Fran and Uncle Art came to visit us all the way from Jersey. They drove the whole way. They had plans to drive for three days and catch a hotel for two nights, but plans changes when Uncle Art had a kidney stone. It threw them off track and it ended up taking them a week to get out here. They went to my grandparents house in Utah for a week, then stopped here in GJ to see us before they hit the road home. We had a very nice visit after not seeing them for 10 years.
I cant see in the sun. Hurts my eyes sooooo bad.. oh well

New Outfit
Thanks Mona and Eric for Carson’s adorable outfit. It fits great, except that he would not cooperate for pictures. I tried to get him to stand and he fell over, I tried to get him to sit and he went to the crawling position, so these are the pictures I ended up with. Thanks again, you guys are the best.

ALL The Things He Has Discovered That He Can Climb On!!!
Carson has now became a climber. I swear he climbs all the things that rock, flip, or move. If only he would choose solid items that are heavier than him, he probably would not fall as often, but they do say that "you learn from experience," so hopefully some day he will figure it out. He is too cute though. This is what we do all day. Fun for him, but exhausting for me because he is not good enough to do it on his own, so I have to stand by ready to catch him every minute. He also has not figured out that if he lets go he will fall. He/we are lucky not to have any bruises, scratches or black eyes, yet.
He loves riding his horse and can even rock it. Again, I have to stand by because he gets a little too crazy and about rocks it over.

Carson's 8 month old pictures
So I decided to try and get some pictures of Carson on the 23 for being 8 months old. Wishful thinking with a child as active as he is. He is not crawling yet, but he can pull himself wherever he wants to go, so picture taking is no longer a task I can do alone. I need someone there to entertain him and another to take the pictures. Non the less, I could not keep him from eating the grass, so the pictures did not turn out like I envisioned them, but they will do.

Little Stinker---100% Cole Boy----
So, I decided to set Carson in his crib so I could go in the kitchen and take my vitamins. All was good until I came back in the room and found him standing. This is the first time he has stood by himself. Usually he will try and pull himself up on us, but we have to help him. I was so surprised so I had to sit him back down and watch him do it. Too cute!! He sure is growing up.
This is how I left him....
.....and this is how I found him
You can see the look on his face, that he knew he was doing something he was not supose to be doing and he was darn proud of it.
Staring out the front door.
Daddy and Carson chillin in the evening before bed.

Vega Lake, Colbran Co.
On Saturday my mom, Larry, Carson and I went up on the Mesa to Vega lake and spent the day fishing. It was so nice. We were out on the lake for about 5 hours and never caught one single fish, but it was so beautiful and relaxing we didnt mind. Carson had the time of his life. He absolutely loved the fishing pole and being out on the boat. He usually takes 3-4 naps a day and we were lucky to get in one 15 minute nap while boating. He hung in there well and did not get too cranky until about six that night when we were loading everything up and getting ready to head home. We cant wait to go back again during a time when Brison can join us.
Sleepy baby

I was trying to take 7 month pictures of Carson. It was so hard doing it by myself because he never stops moving.
This dragonfly kept landing on me while I was taking Carson's pictures. Too funny.
